Friday evening I made a reservation for Pop Century Oct 29 thru Nov 4th. When I made the reservation I asked the gentleman if I needed to pay for MNSSHP that night or if I could wait. He proceeded to tell me that I didn't have to make them right then, but not to wait until we arrived.

So, I call today, a mere 4 days later to purchase tickets either for the 30th or the 31st and the lady tells me they're sold out and have been sold out for quite sometime for those dates. She informed me that they will have tickets available for walk up but DVC has sold out of the allotment given to them.
Ok, I sit here for a minute, call back to find out if maybe I could get them through the resort or what time to get them if we walk up, or if I could get them walk up the day we get there on the 29th for any of those dates.
This lady tells me that you CAN NOT get them on a walk up basis at all, not to mention she was VERY RUDE.
Now, I am not a complainer and have never had complaints concerning Disney. We went in December of 05 and May 05 and are returning just 10 months later. We spend alot of money with Disney and most of our vacations are with Disney. I don't expect special treatment but I do expect Disney service we are accustomed to, the bar that they have set. I expect to have customer representatives that are not only courteous but CONSISTANT. I have never had this problem until now. Are they so busy that they just hire whoever they can get and they don't take the time to train these people to know what's going on and current?
Don't get me wrong, the gentleman I got on the phone Friday night was so nice and had that Disney ora about him, but he did fail to tell me MNSSHP was sold out for our travel dates, was that to avoid losing a sale?
Does anyone have any suggestions for tickets or do I need to cancel the trip? It's not like we haven't been recently, we were wanting our little girl to trick or treat at Disney.
Sorry for being so down and negative!
BTW, if anyone has any tickets for sale, please email me.

MNSSHP is not sold out on 10/30 and 10/31. There are no discounted tickets for either of those nights though. (AP or DVC). They never offered discounted tickets for those two nights. So, there are tickets still available but they would be full price. They can be purchased on the WDW website.

That said, you were given misinformation and that is frustrating! Information from CMs can sometimes be very inconsistent. I hope you have a good trip though!

Just go to disneyworld.com...they have the tickets for 10/30 and 10/31 on there and you can purchase them. As chrisxtwo said, they are not sold out, but neither do they have advance purchase pricing.

1) You were given correct information, sort of.
2) Yes,
. . . you don't have to buy while on the phone
. . . you can buy later on the phone
. . . you can buy at the resort
. . . you can buy at the parks
3) But, they didn't say that
. . . discounted tickets sell out early
. . . all tickets could sell out, especially for popular dates
4) Good luck in buying the non-discounted tickets.
5) Remember, 10/30 and 10/31 are the most popular dates, and can sell out

I've tried several times today to get the tickets online and the option is not even available for the dates that I will be there.
Why would they say it's sold out when it's not?
