Vero in May???

Anyone know what the weather is like at Vero during the first week of May? Do you think it would be a good time to go?

Ideal time. Daily highs are usually in the 80s, you can get some thunderstorms but usually sunny most days.

I was there the first week in May 2 years ago, it was unbearably hot, couldn't wait to get out of there. Thank God it was at the beginning of our trip so I could look forward to getting to WDW.
If your a beach and pool person (which I'm not) you'll probably love it, because there isn't anything else to do there. Restaurants there our fair at best and be prepared to drive at least 30 min to get to any off site ones.
It's about as remote as it can be.
Unfortunately I'll probably get stuck going back there some day to humor my DDIL and Grandkids but I'm not looking forward to it.
The Resort itself is very nice, and there's a great little bar upstairs that looks out on the ocean, needless to say I spent a lot of time there, If Larry is the bartender (I think that was his name) ask for an "Ocean Potion".
