Read quite a bit about being eatin alive by bugs at vero beach. Is that just at night or is it bad during the day to

I did not get bit at all last month but my wife got ate up. they just did not seem to like me. Only had problems at night, none during the day. I used Cutter Advanced, which has no DEET or smell. My wife was not as thorough as I was at applying the stuff.

You will LOVE Vero. We may never stay anywhere else in Florida now.

I got quite a few bites when I was there, but my daughters didn't get any....of course, they spent the whole time out in the ocean and I laid in the sand reading....
