So we made the journey to visit VB and are considering buying points. Folks, how go you get there and would you buy in again?

So we made the journey to visit VB and are considering buying points. Folks, how go you get there and would you buy in again?

We come from VA and take the Amtrak Auto Train down then drive our car to the resort.

We don't own there, but will continue to go there. That said, unless you think you need the VB points to get into peak dates or want a Beach Cottage, VB points might not be your best purchase. Compare the maintenance fees. It makes a difference.

If we buy any more points DH insists they be at Vero Beach. We love it there! Spent last week there. We usually spend a week at Disney then a week at Vero to relax.

Last week was just Vero. We drive down from Michigan. Now that we bring our own chairs, beach umbrella, boogie and skim boards we have too much stuff to fly.

Wow - I thought just renting the stuff was easier tan hauling it. Kudos to you !

We bought into Vero after our first visit in 2004. We have added on there because we do want a Beach Cottage at least every other year. In January I get an inn room or two when I stay with friends. I've been able to get that reservation at 7 months using other home points.
