If you're thinking locally grown, I think citrus growing season ends in February/March.

Hale Orchards is just before the bridge to the resort and they are open in May.

Go to Hale's when you get to Vero and buy their o.j......expensive but as my dear dad said "liquid gold"!!!!

I had them send us fruit this winter. Oddly, a friend had also sent us fruit from the orange ring in Orlando. There was NO comparison!! Hale's fruit was SOooo much better! And I love their store in VB...when I'm at DVBR I always buy my produce and fruit there!
