Hello,

I'm new here.

I just received a letter in the mail about our upcoming trip to Vero Beach 3/31 to 4/4. There will be a critical beach re-nourishment project going on during our stay and access to the beach areas will be restricted. Does anyone know any additional info on this? Please let me know because our trip is getting closer and I don't have much time to plan something else. Thank you!

Well, we're staying at VB next Sunday night and this is the first I've heard about the beach closure. So, we drive two hours just to make sure that we get to see a beach during our vacation and they close it. I was on the phone to Member Services on Friday you'd think that they would have mentioned it.

Not a happy bunny! Can you put a positive spin on this?

We just got a letter saying that the work should be complete by the end of March before we arrive, but they wanted to give us a heads up in case the work is delayed due to weather,etc. They did also say that their is a shuttle running to nearby beaches. HTH!

did the letter come from DVC? We leave on the 25th and will be there until Easter....just wondering....
