Vero Beach: Where have you been my whole life?

Heaven.

My last DVC resort to visit. Should have been my first. Heaven.

So here we go:

This is the "We're in Florida" pic. I missed the sign. Well didn't miss it my camera missed it.

We're here!

Ocean view room. Enough said. I have about twenty shots. Nothing like hearing the roar all day and all night.

No zoom folks.

Sunrise, very early, one morning. Who I am kidding? It was the last day. I don't get up that early on vacation on any other day.

Okay back to the first day. We ran to the beach.

Great pics! Can't wait to try out VB for the first time in 12 days! We have a garden view inn room, but hopefully we'll be able to catch some glimpses of the ocean!

So the beach right after check in:

Claiming a beach cottage. Lucky Vero big point owners.

So then later that day - we swam and swam and jumped and jumped.

Then my parents arrived the next day. Their room wasn't ready. So run to the beach again!

You never wanted to put shoes on!!

Oh you will. Everything is lovely. There's the Green Room/Green Cabin Room????? . VBers are going to kill me!!!

Anyway, it's a bar that has an outdoor area overlooking the ocean.

That's what I told them. Hope you all have no jealousy problems cause here we go.

Got one night for them on this trip at 30 days. The other night at 7 days. Ocean view. And last year I got them a Savanna view AKV room for a vacation at 2 days out. They have also stayed at SSR and got DD view.

So are you ready it gets better. They get top floor. They get huge balcony. They get huge room - like it was irregular and Disney just went with it. I swear you could have easily put another queen size bed in there - no problem. I was so happy for them.

7 days and under I've scored many a times. Actually I was on the road and booked HHI an hour before arrival. Spontaneous moment. I adore spontaneity.

Yes, I went in the races. And worked on my time all week. I'm very competitive.

I would think mid 70s. I don't know. Only felt chilly for the first moment. And then jump away. Loved it.

On this Tuesday - something went very wrong at the hairdressers.

We went over to check out across the street. Through the tunnel (soccer field, tennis, volleyball etc. Don't miss it. Very relaxing. And it's worth actually seeing a portapotty with Disney's name on it!!!!

So that's all I got for you for Vero. I did make a last minute decsion on the road to sneak over to HHI. But I don't want to post here in case skimmers think they've added some new things to VB.

Rain - one night a few drizzles - five minutes.

The rest of the week sun, sun and sun. Lucky too cause just south got drenched. And every day it said 30-40% and it never came.

Jellyfish - no. I don't know. Maybe/Must have started right after I left. Or I'm clueless. We left VB last Friday. And we were at the beach early Friday morning.

Have a wonderful time. I've been in withdrawl all week. I keep posting the pics over and over to keep it alive. I'm on WISH.

What room were you in? Looks like an OVIR...have never seen any with that big of balcony!!!

We were both in an OVIR. Mine was on the third floor with a small solid balcony. My parents were on the fourth, actually just ablove us, with that massive balcony and over sized room.

But pluses and minuses. You walked in our room - ocean view immediately. My parents room faced the same way but the had a long entranceway coming off another part of the hall so you walked in couldn't see outside. Plus, their balcony was so large and contained that the room seemed darker.

I did like that their balcony wasn't solid.

I can't temember the room numbers. Ours was 2318 I think.
