vero beach weather - Feb???

Just made reservations for our home resort (BWV) for President's weekend 2002. I know that wdw is supposed to be terribly crowded at that time but it's the only guaranteed vacation after Christmas that I have. (I'm a teacher) I was thinking that maybe I would try for VB at the 7 month window. Is that doable? What's the weather like there at that time? I love WDW and it would probably just about kill me to be in Florida and not go there but I am thinking that my family could use a little R&R at that time of the year and if crowds at the world are as bad as I'm hearing, we surely wont get it there. Any suggestions or comments are appreciated. Thanks

we went to vb in feb. 00 The weather was decent, a little chilly on the beach. It was nice around the pool, if I remember it was about mid 70's. We had a great time. We are leaving for vb in 3 weeks. We own at the bw but love vb and hh. We have ressies for presidents weekend at the bw for feb 2002, is it really that busy then. Now I'm worried, maybe we should switch to okw.

Weather.com says avg high 73 avg low 51.
We were watching the weather before out trip this past feb and that is about what it was reporting. When we got there is was low 80s and sunny all week. Couldn't have asked for better weather.
