Vero Beach voted one of the best hotels in the U.S.

Just got the latest issue of Travel and Leisure magazine featuring "The Worlds Best". The ONLY Disney hotel that made the list of the Top 100 Hotels in the US and Canada is Disney's Vero Beach Resort at #77. No Animal Kingdom Lodge. No Grand Floridian. It beat the Ritz Carlton in Boston (#78), the St. Regis in Washington DC (#88) and the Beverly Hills Hotel (#97).

Just thought I would share the fact that our little secret is out.

If anyone had an objective memory, they would remember that each and every time I talk about VB I say "VB is a beautiful resort, very literally, one of the finest on the planet"

Still doesn't change that fact that it was such a dismal failure that it got Disney out of the off site timeshare business.

We going Oct 8 for the 3rd time can hardly wait.

Not true. You have recently added that line after several postings strongly complained about the constant, repetative, unecessary Vero Beach bashing by some posters, but it certainly is not an accurate statement to say that "each and every time" you post about Vero that statement is included. That is not an objective assessment, IMO. However, the recent change and addition is appreciated. I agree, it is a beautiful resort.

It's also great to hear the news about it gaining status in a notable publication.
