Vero Beach Trip Report

Thanks for reporting. We stayed there last summer and fell in love. What a wonderful relaxing end to our vacation. We had good luck at Shutters, but I remember ordering an appetizer for my dinner. We found a great restaurant a little south of the resort that we ate at twice. I can't remember the name but it was on the beach, just past the Holiday Inn. It had a seafood shack look from the outside.

Thanks for your report. Do remember your room number, since you liked it so much. Did you also say it was on a corner?

We are heading down for our first trip to Vero in May, wrapping up a 2 week DVC trip with 5 days at Vero.

Could I also ask if you found enough on property to keep kids busy, I have a 5 and 3 yo. Any recommendations out there? and do you think a 5 day wrap up would be too long there?

Not the OP but I was also worried about having enough to do. When we checked in I said to my husband that I was okay with leaving a few days early. Needless to say the night before we were to check out we asked to be placed on a waiting list to stay an extra night. Unfortunately no one else cancelled.
