The "Jet skis" referred to in information about the resort are actually wave runners (wave runners are much easier to drive than jet-skis). They have two (one blue and one red). They are, I believe Yamaha's and each seat up to three passengers.
I rode the blue one when I was there two weeks ago. It cost $53.00 for 1/2 hour. You are permitted to ride up to 3/4 mile south of the resort and about 1 mile out to sea.
It was truly an awesome experience. I went by myself (my DSs are a bit too small and my DW is not much of a water sports lover).
There were almost no other boats in the area, so I really felt free to do my own thing. being out to sea so I could see the resort, but couldn't make out people on the beach was quite a peaceful experience. There are few times in my life when I can say I was quite that alone. Me, a jelly fish (a relly big one I saw bobbing in the water) and a few birds floating on the water.
I imagine there would be more boats out and about in the summer months...but I highly recommend this experience to those who have yet to drive a wave runner.
