Vero Beach question

Hello there,

This will be our first time possibly renting DVC points for a stay at any Disney resort. My family is extremely interested in staying at Vero Beach over Spring Break 2016, specifically 3/24-3/28. Is it typically better to wait to book directly from Disney when 2016 dates come available or rent points? From what I can tell, we would need to rent 106 points for an Ocean View Deluxe Inn room. I worry that because it is a school holiday and spring break that there won't be much availablity if I wait to book straight through Disney. Should I just go ahead and book now with point rental? A friend recommended waiting until rates are released and booking whatever is cheaper. Again, I'm worried it will be too late. I'm also worried about not being able to cancel if I do decide to rent points. Thank you for any information you can provide.

You are already within the 11 month booking period. If you find a VB owner that is renting there points, I would go ahead and get your reservation. Please, make sure you understand the limitations that renting from an owner includes.
If CRO has rooms available to book you should already be able to do so.
