Thanks for the article. Erosion has been a big problem up-and-down the Florida coast for years, and many communities have had to shell out big $$$$ to make beaches bigger.

Let's hope the state or Fed's help them out.

Thanx for the link, Nick.
While walking the beach on our last trip to Vero, it was very noticable that there was more fresh sand inside the Disney property line, than there was just over the line. In other words, it was obvious that Disney has built up there own beach area, without the county's help.

Thanks for the link, Nick. My uncle has spoken about this---he lives in Sebastian. Vero Beach can't handle much of a hit as far as beach erosion goes because the beach is already so narrow. Glad to hear the area has invested in the repair---but sounds like they need to really keep on top of it.
