Vero Beach - Inn Room with a View

Just returned from out first-time stay at Vero Beach. We had a nice ocean front view from Inn room 2221. My kids (6 & 7) had a great time at the pool, especially with all of the organized pool games. Plus, there were ample opportunities for crafts, mini-golf, etc.

We are headed down in July for a few nights. Any tips/advice? We have an oceanview room booked in the Inn.

Can you bring your own drinks into the pool area and to the beach? Coolers?

I always pack a collapsible cooler. Don't know for a fact but I am pretty sure if its not glass, you can bring drinks to the pool/beach. We do.
