Verizon Triple Play $84 deal and $300 gift card!

I have had a few family members tell me that they are getting this $84.99 triple play Verizon deal and getting a $300 gift card to have a 2 yr contract with Verizon! We are already Verizon customers and our contract is up in 3 months and wondering if any of you have renewed with Verizon recently and were able to get this deal? We are never very lucky with calling and getting any deals from anyone so afraid to call but if I think they will renew our contract for 2 more years, I will call to get this deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our contract was up this month (Feb) and we renewed the 2 yr contract but it changed our home phone changed to digital. We get the 300.00 after 90 days and you cant be late on your bill during that time

I went to the Verizon website and entered my info in, hoping to switch from comcast. A few days later they mailed me the $84 offer, too with the $300 gift card offer attached.

I am thinking I have to switch!

Does anyone know, are there any hidden fees? And is it a big hassle to change providers?

What is the gift card? A visa g.c. or do they apply the $$ toward your bill?
