Go to the verizon.com/foryourhome site and see if it's available by selecting build your own bundle and a 2yr agreement and see if the 79.99 price comes up. It may say 89.99 on the home page but select prime tv, 15 internet, and unlimited voice.

Run as far away from FIOS as possible. Due to excessive expansion, Verizon cannot provide the level of service they promote. We are in SoCal and on our 6th attempted migration of home page and email. Verizon/FIOS has to get issues worked out long before they add more customers. Look at the Verizon blogs pertaining to FIOS if you want to see what kind of issues customers are having.

You could each "possibly" get up to a $50 amex card. I know the new signup will atleast. I kind of doubt I would receive anything.

We are Verizon users and I almost upgraded my bundle. If I did I would have gotten a $300 gift card.

My friend told me about it. She upgraded her service and got the gc, but now she must dial the area code for all outgoing phone calls even local and her number changed from a local number for her voicemail to an 877 number. She wasn't happy about it.

I would NEVER go back to optimum-we got FIOS 2 years ago and have never been happier with TV/Phone and internet and with the bill!! I am saving 75.00 a month with FIOS and get better service and customer support than with the other cable company!

Good to hear that it is all fine for you. Here in my area of Southern California the experience has been less than promised. Speeds are debatable and phone call clarity is spotty at best. One of my favorite customer service calls involved the rep telling me that there was a lot of static on the line and that they could barely hear me, this was the reason I called. They just are not taking care of the business they already have to be trying to expand the market. As for lower costs, notice how there is no contract required if you don't take the incentive gifts? This implies that there are unhappy customers and is proven when you look at the Verizon blogs. As with anything else, it appears that each of us has a different experience.

I know this is the deal I ordered and they are telling me that it never existed. I ordered 3 weeks ago and I'm on the phone with customer service right now and they are telling me that this deal never existed.

I'm having the SAME issue. I'm on the phone with them now and I'm about to scream! They're saying it was online and they cn't see online but she's researching. I HAVE a valid letter from them sent in the mail, proving it says I will receive a free $300 gc. I wanted to use this for disney. I am INFURIATED right now. Verizon stinks!
