There was footage on a celebrity gossip website (perezhilton, maybe?) that showed the girl on top grinding against him.

Funny, I watched it and she was never on top and absolutely never grinding.

Amazing how two people can see something so differently.

In some states 15 is the age of consent to have sex. I understand why you think he was wrong but he was performing in a club for people 18 and over. How was the guy to know that she wasn't 18? If he was performing in an open stage in a park for all to see that would be different but he was performing in a club that is techinically for adults. This girl PRETENDED she was an adult. She could have also not got up on the stage. How the heck would she have told her family she won a trip anyways? "Hey, Dad, I was shaking my booty on stage at an 18 and over club and won this trip."

I think it is wrong at any age.

I saw the whole video, two different versions (two different cameras/angles) and she was never on top or grinding.

If it weren't so disturbing and disgusting and against board policies, I'd post a link.

Well, I'm not lining up to buy tickets to see him any soon and I don't have any of his cd's and to be honest I don't even know his music. Yes it is crude and explicit but his audience is supposed to be adults who knowingly make the decision to see his show or listen to his music. Some parents let their kids listen to that or see his show, I have no problem with that either.

This girl chose to be up on that stage and under him or over him or in front of him. She could have said hell no and never got near him. She chose to have the fake id and enter the club where she had to lie to get into. It's all about choices made.

I have a 15 year old DD and I think if she ended up in a situation like that, she'd know EXACTLY what she was doing.

I cannot view the video from my office computer to see how it looks, but I agree that the 15 year old probably knew exactly what she was doing and probably enjoyed the attention she got from being onstage with Akon (until her parents saw it).

Yes, unfortunately, people (especially minors) do lots of crazy things due to peer pressure with their friends around them.

I read that she thought she'd would only dance with him (if chosen) and win a trip to Africa. Maybe she didn't know his history being in another country and all.

I think that girl isn't sorry she went or did it, she's sorry she got caught and is trying to get herself out of trouble.

So long as people keep their icky stuff to themselves, in their own places - strip clubs, concerts, whatever - I'm fine with it. To each his own.

Could you provide a link? Was she wearing red?

There are a lot of other videos with other women who were actually on top of him, with him lying on the stage so maybe you saw one of those?

He was on top of her humping, then he picked her up and moved her to the crowd and put her against the crowd and did some more humping. Then he picked her up and put her down on the stage and dragged her across it like a rag doll while continuing to hump her. He was never on the bottom, underneath her. He was always on top of her or standing and carrying her. His back was never on the floor.

He was always the one in control.
