Vera Bradley sunglasses question

I was looking on VB website yesterday .....I'm trying to find some nice sunglasses. They had some really cute ones and some were on sale. Has anyone tried them or bought them ? I'm nervous to just order them......

The prices are pretty good though compared to other brands online. (and in some cases, alot lower !)

I did order a pair of their eyeglass frames online from Ebay, Carnaby, and really like them. Can't wait to put my script in. Only paid about $42.

DD and I have them. They are really nice quality and have lasted longer than I expected for my 14 year old.

I have 2 different pairs and I love them. They fit me perfectly and have good "eye coverage". I don't like the sun to peek in from above or underneath the sunglasses because I had lasik and the sun really bothers my eyes now. The one thing that I hear about the VB sunglasses are that they run wide-so if you have a smaller frame, they may not fit you as well. If you order from the VB website, you can always return them if you don't like them (you have to pay shipping both ways though). My local VB dealer always has the sunglasses on sale for 25% off, so you might want to check your local dealer.

If you have a TJ Maxx nearby, check there before ordering. About a month or two back I remember seeing many pairs of VB sunglasses, they looked like nice glasses. I can't remember the price though! Hope this helps!

Pauladrn: I'll definately check TJ Maxx and Marshall's just in case. I was going to hold out for a discount code anyway (since i missed the one over the weekend). So that will give me time to hunt around.

chabs: I WISH we had a good local VB dealer. Ours totally stinks. I went in not long ago and they had like a gazillion duffle bags and laptop bags. I'm like "where's the purses", the woman said "oh, we really don't like to carry a big selection". ( are you afraid someone might buy them ? ) very odd.

they're so pretty though !! I'm so glad to hear that they have good coverage. the Ray Bans I have now are really nice, but sun comes in on all sides. so it kind of defeats the purpose if I'm squinting all the time.

Just wanted to say that I, too, found the VB sunglasses not to be the best for small-framed faces. I bought a pair of the "Jenny Lynn" style from the VB website, but they just won't stay up on the bridge of my nose. I have considered putting some of the nose pads on them to see if that would help. At least I got them at a clearance price and got them during a free shipping promo. Good luck with your choice.
