Just wanted to introduce myself as a wdw newbie, am usually on the dlp forum but I think it's time we take on the something new

I have a very ambitious 18 months planned out, with many first's.


I've just booked our first stay at ssr for oct 13 followed by 7nts on the fantasy. I'll be following you all with interest and sure to have a bunch of questions x

I see you are making sure that when you do it for the first time, you do it with style Deluxe Villa Resort then a Cruise Way to go!

There is always something extra special about the first trip.

You see that's why I come here, everyone else see's it as madness, disney people just get it

ddp makes the resort worth it right now, I'm still swaying between ssr and okw but just had to get it booked in.

WDW is so amazing. I've done DLRP 3 times, and it's okay, but it's not a patch on the "real thing"

Also, the hotels are way more luxurious than in Paris. SSR is beautiful though, good choice!

Much like you I have been to DLP 3 times and really enjoy it but wanted to go to WDW for the dream family holiday. We booked this time last year for October 11th this year. 9 nights at OKW and 8 nights in private villa. I can't believe how quickly it is coming round and I have really enjoyed planning so far. Hope you do too! Your plans so far sound amazing!!

One thing you can guarantee is I'll be asking plenty of questions! I have a lot of planning so may not always be that active but hope to share in the magic of everyone's trips.

I love DLP, that's what sparked my Disney obsession, now my dd is getting bigger I feel it's a good time to try the world. We'll be doing exclusively Disney with a view to a longer trip in 2014.

Already I'm contemplating switching to Wilderness Lodge but for now I'm going to breathe, try to contain my excitement and get my reading glasses on
