Just wondering about bike hire at venice beach and Santa Monica.

Do they have bikes with child seats on the back??
Are there any other type of bikes besides the normal 2 wheel ride bikes?

Has anyone does this ride recently??? Any tips???

Bikes are really popular in Venice and Santa Monica, and there are dedicated bike lanes that run all up and down the beach. I'm almost positive that you can rent bikes with child seats in the back.

If you're thinking about the big trolley bikes that you can rent at WDW, those aren't usually available in Santa Monica or Venice because of the high bike traffic.

I run from Will Rogers State Park to Venice all the time and it is a beautiful ride. A great way to see the beach and all the fun that goes with it! Make sure you go early in the day so you avoid a lot of the heavy bike traffic and you see people out on Muscle Beach, on the pier, etc.
