I'm thinking of doing the escape package with upgrades. I did the online choosing just to see what the price would be around and it was over $12,000

Does anyone know who the photographers/videographers are so that we could look at their work? Also for hair/makeup? Has anyone done the private photo shoot that is done before park opens? I really would love to have Christmas lights in our photos since we want to get married during the Christmas season. Any suggestions or anyone have any Christmas pics that were taken?

Whoa. $12,000 is a lot of upgrades on a $5,000 package. What kinds of things were you looking to add? There may be ways to cut those costs.

You can see samples of Disney Photography's Escape work here, but the photographers who have individual pages on that site seem to do more Wishes weddings than Escape. http://www.disneyeventphotography.com/weddings/escapeWeddings.php Also, you will not be guaranteed a certain photographer on your day, but you can put in request that they will try to fulfill.

Disney has no on-staff cosmetologists. They will send you a list of preferred vendors, but there are tons of other great cosmetologists in Orlando. There have been numerous threads on this subject here, so you should get some good advice from a quick search of this board.

Many of us have done the in-park bridal portrait sessions; you can see photos from mine here. Disney won't guarantee that the Christmas lights on the castle will be turned on during your shoot, and people have mixed results with that. Also, there are quite a few blackout dates during the holidays when the shoots are not available in the Magic Kingdom (and right now they have not even started booking shoots in 2015), so you might want to consider doing one of the other parks.

Hopefully some Christmas time brides will come along and share their Magic Kingdom photos!
