Dh and I went to see the Little River Band in June. We had a great time. Most people were in their 40's and 50's, I would say. (I am 41 and HD is 45)
We were staying at RPR and I stopped by the front earlier in the day, to ask about transportation to the Hard Rock. There was no way I was walking in that heat once I was dressed! They told me they had complimentary cars for transport between the resorts! Nice touch.
We arrived about an hour early. it was packed. They had 4 drink stations set up. Each one was sponsored by whatever they were serving. One was a lite beer, rum and coke, vodka and tonic/soda, and I forget the other one.
The lines were long but they moved. We went to all but the beer.
There was also a few cash bars as well.
I wore a maxi dress with wedge sandals. I was probably a bit underdressed. Lots of sequins and super high heels and more "clubby-type" outfits. I was on vacation and wasn't packing much more than a maxi! Honestly, if we were ever to go again, I would still we wear something more casual on vacation!
Don't go hungry! They bring out the apps on small plates. People attack as soon as they come out.
You need to be very aggressive, not worth it IMO.
We had a really great time. We left as soon as the band finished...probably around 9:30. We met the kids at Jakes for some snacks back at RPR.
Go and have fun! I thought the tix were inexpensive for what it was.
