Vegetarian Proclamation gone from LTT?

Planning a trip for January (our second so far!), and with a vegan wife I’m always on the lookout for good options for her around The World. I was considering going to lunch at the Liberty Tree Tavern, but it seems like they’ve recently removed the Vegetarian Proclamation sandwich from their menu, according to MDE. A few other sites, like TouringPlans, still have it listed.

Has anyone been to MK recently and noticed whether or not the sandwich was still on the menu?

The Vegetarian Proclamation sandwich is off the menu, as are the old veggie burger and veggie pot pie. The last time I was there, in January, they offered cavatappi pasta with marinara sauce and artichokes to the vegetarian in our group and said that was all that was available. She said it was good for what it's worth.

Good to know. We won't be there for a while, so maybe they'll come up with something else for the veggies out there.
It's a shame, since (as a wannabe WDW history buff) I'd love to eat at one of the original dining spots in MK, but the food offerings just aren't appealing to us. Guess I can always pop in and ask to look around, like a wierdo. :P

I had the pasta dish when I went. It was ok, not memorable. I think there are better choices out there.

So disappointed...the menu seems so much more limited. We were there in August 2016 for lunch and there were a lot more choices.

i've been menu planning for our trip in august and there seem to be fewer vegetarian options than in the past, with veggie burgers now very few and far between.

I've been noticing that. On our last trip we were actually surprised how many vegetarian/vegan options there were, but it seems that many of them are slipping away. My wife found that sometimes the best option was to go to a table service restaurant during less busy hours and ask the chef to make up a vegan dish. We got some great surprises from a few restaurants (the hotel 'coffee shops' especially).

we'll be there in august...
we're going for 3 weeks doing free dining so we'll be eating at lots of places..
i'll try to come back onto the boards and give our impression of the vegetarian experience as we find it..

I am also disappointed by the lack of Vegetarian Choices in all of the parks, I just took a look at the updated menus at the QS places. What is happening?
