Hi,

I will be heading to Disney World in 2 weeks. I was looking for some recommendations for restaurants with vegetarian options. I prefer table service but I'm fine with quick service as well. FYI - I am not vegan so I DO eat dairy, eggs etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Any place I went to had at least 1 vegetarian option.
I have never had a problem being a vegetarian in WDW without any planning whatsoever. That said, my favourite meal was a lighthouse sandwich at Columbia Harbour House and a black bean burger at the POP food court.

*** edit. I forgot. I ate something delicious at the Rose and Crown but I now forget what it was.

the best meals me and my veg friend had on our April trip were:
(at HS) the veggie burger and the veggie shepherds pie at the sci fi diner; the veg lasagna at the prime time cafe.
(AK) there's this quick service cart in asia that has samosas, hummus/pita, and falafel. restaurantosaurus's black bean burger.
(Epcot) the nudel gratin in germany; veggie naanwich and veg flatbread at electric umbrella; veg "chik'n" korma at sunshine seasons; falafel in tangierine cafe; veg and tofu stir fry at nine dragons. also I found that a lot of the special flower & garden festival carts had cool/unique veggie options.
(MK) the lighthouse sandwich and veg chili at Columbia harbor house; the veg burger at cosmic Ray's.
(Disney springs) the chickpea burger at rainforest cafe was surprisingly delicious. paradiso 37 has a good black bean burger but also amazing truffle fries and yucca fries.

(eta more Epcot options because it's the BEST for veg options)

Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Sci-Fi Diner (the burger is awesome) and Be Our Guest's onion soup and ratatouille were my highlights. You won't struggle anywhere as a veggie though.

I am a pescetarian and I usually don't have a problem in WDW. I try not to eat fish to often. What I have found that it is hard to find options that provide good protein source. A lot of the options are carb heavy. I usually look at the menus before hand, but I find myself eating more seafood while at Disney because of the lack of protein options. Also if you don't find anything you like in the menu just tell your sever the chef will come out and they will prepare something for you.

Here is a list of 10 vegetarian Disney restaurant meals. The list is from the Disney Parks Blog and it's from October 2015

https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/b...sort-to-celebrate-vegetarian-awareness-month/

1. Watermelon Salad, Flame Tree Barbecue, Disney’s Animal Kingdom
2. Lighthouse Sandwich, Columbia Harbor House, Magic Kingdom Park
3. Grilled Vegetable Sandwich, Backlot Express, Disney’s Hollywood Studios
4. Veggie Naan-wich, Electric Umbrella, Epcot
5. Fried Green Tomato Sandwich, Rosie’s All-American Café, Disney’s Hollywood Studios
1. Layered Ratatouille, Be Our Guest Restaurant, Magic Kingdom Park
2. Noodle Bowl, Hollywood Brown Derby, Disney’s Hollywood Studios
3. Farmer Lee’s Tomato Salad, California Grill, Disney’s Contemporary Resort
4. Vegetarian Falafel, Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, Disney’s Beach Club Resort
5. Vegetable and Tofu Sambusas, Jiko – The Cooking Place, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

I'm vegan so it's a bit more difficult for me to find good options but I can still find them.

We aren't vegetarians, but enjoy a good non-meat meal when done right. Some favorites of ours (mostly in the AK realm)

Sanaa - Anything from the vegetarian sampler options. Favs of ours are the chick peas and paneer
Jiko - When they have them as a feature the vegetable samosas are divine
Animal Kingdom - A food cart by Balou's and King Louie's meet and greet has great falafel and samosas
Be Our Guest - French Onion Soup

You won't have a problem finding good vegetarian options, especially at a TS restaurant where the chef can modify a dish for you if necessary. We've also had good meals at the buffets as vegetarians, since we can make a meal of the various salads and side dishes offered.

One CS I haven't seen mentioned is Les Halle's Boulangerie in France at Epcot. They have a very good quiche florentine and a Brie and apple sandwich that's delicious. (There are other options too but those are my favorites.)
