I was just wondering if anyone here has used the World Passport Collection to vacation in Las Vegas. If so, which ones do you recommend? Thanks! :jester:

If you don't have the time to read all(threads) of the above post by CarolMN, here is a brief overview of the Polo Towers. We were guests there of friends of ours(June 13-17),so we didn't have to use any points.

1. "Great location"(across the street from Monte Carlo, next to MGM)
2. No casinos or on-site restraunts in Polo Towers
3. Pool is on the 22nd floor.
4.Villa's(1-2 bedrooms) at Polo Towers are very compareable to DVC in quality.

We can't wait to go back to Vegas............but I probably wouldn't use points to stay there. A lot of Vegas hotels(Excaliber,Mirage, etc) have specials for $59-$89 a night, as long as there isn't a convention in town. Just go to LasVegas.com and check out the deals there.;)

I've never used points at Vegas... (And probabily never will for the reasons that ncligs mentioned... Vegas is just too darned cheap on hotel rates..)

My family got a great rate to stay at the Excalibur last year... While the room was nice, it was one of those times I wished I would have had a 1BR.. Keeping food and milk cold for my DS2 was pretty tough, and having a washer/dryer would have been nice.
