I have a question: What is there to do in Las Vegas for teens? Me and my parents are planning a trip there and we are staying at the Rio and Planet Hollywood. Any fun things to do while I'm there?

the pools! plus all the food is sooo good. we stay downtown and not on the strip so there are some different things to do, but the big three are pools, food, and shopping!!

The pools are quite awesome, but definitely check out some of the shows too! If you're a Beatles fan [or even if you aren't], the Beatles-themed Cirque du Soleil, LOVE, is fantastic. A trip to M&M World is also obligatory; 4 floors of chocolate and candies! Also check out whatever your own hotel has to offer. I've never stayed at the Rio or Planet Hollywood, so I can't say. But it's worth checking out other hotels' websites and seeing what attractions they can offer, even if you're not staying at that hotel. I know there's an aquarium at one of the hotels, but I can't remember which. Whatever you decide to do, have fun! :thumbsup2

Don't worry, we've visited twice (once when I was 9 and then just two months ago) and both times I've had a great time!

As others have said, the shopping is good, the food is good and the shows are good. Make sure you go to the Beatles Love and Viva Elvis if you can. If you don't like those shows, there are plenty of other Cirque du Soleil shows to see!

Each casino has its own little quirks and interesting things to see, such as the lion habitat at the MGM, dolphins at the Mirage and just walking through the casinos themselves or walking around outside is fun.

They have the fashion mall just opposite the Wynn which is pretty good

Circus Circus has lots of free circus acts as well as the Adventuredome indoor theme park.

You could go skydiving if you want or do a helicopter tour or grand canyon tour or something like that.

But honestly don't think that you're missing out on anything by being a teen. Seriously the gambling is not that interesting anyway IMO and the best parts of Vegas are the entertainment, the majority of which is open for all ages.

My boyfriend lives there so I tend to visit quite frequently. The first time I visited him was August 2 years ago and I had never been so we did all the touristy stuff.
There are a ton of shows. American Superstars you would probably enjoy. Im not sure of your age so I'll just say a few different things.
As others have mentioned there is shopping and pools.
There is a mall actually theres two. One GIANT one and one smaller one next to Paris Hotel. Inside there they have a small rainforest that has shows every 15-30 mins. Its interesting to see once.
There is an AMAZING wax museum in the Venitian hotel. I loved it!
I would highly reccomend the bodies exhibit and the titanic exhibit.
My bf and I did the CSI exhibit too....BIG WASTE of money and time!
There is plenty of things for teens to do. Check out all the hotels, there really fun.
Also Circus Circus is cool to explore, and New York New York has a huge roller coaster.
Have a great time! :goodvibes

Thanks ya'll. All these things sound like a lot of fun! Haven't been to Las Vegas since I was seven or eight, so I really don't remember much about it. I know for sure I want to go do that little amusement park in Circus Circus and possibly the bodies exhibit (I'm into the whole life science thing) I'm not too crazy about the shows, though. BTW, can teens walk into the casinos and watch other people play slots?
