Vegan and Vegetarian Dining Reviews! (Sept. 27 – Oct. 1) With LOTS of pictures!

Great reviews...was it hard to request the Amber Waves of Grain at LTT?

San Angel Inn
... and I got the burrito.

Just out of curiosity, did you check with them for hidden ingredients?

The one time I asked about the beans in Mexico I ended up getting shown a label that included lard in the ingredients. Since this would make me violently ill, I have skipped San Angel Inn. But, I enjoy bean burritos and cheese enchiladas. So, I'd happily eat here if that has changed.

TU for great reviews! I am going to share this info with my SIL. We are going together and get to make our ADRs this month. Very helpful!

Sorry this is so late, I haven't checked this thred in a while! But, no. It wasn't hard at all. We just asked our waitress what the vegan options were, since we couldn't really eat anything off the menu. She brought the chef out (which I didn't really think this was entirely necessary since it was pretty busy) and he explained that I could have the rolls (but not the butter), the salad, and that he could make us the vegetarian option from the lunch menu. So that's what we got. :)

Nope. While we were at the 50s Prime Time Cafe, my boyfriend really just wanted a veggie burger. So he just asked our waiter if they had them and our waiter said he would see what he could do for us. And we got it! Didn't take any extra time, either. Both of our plates came out at the same time. I'm not sure if they actually had them in the restaurant or not, but they got one there somehow.

Thanks so much for your posts and photos, so helpful, and so fun to read! My DH and I are both vegan and this thread has been indispensable reading for our upcoming trip.

I'm glad I could help! :)

Thank you so much for this post. My vegan wife :hippie: was worried about finding things she could eat.

Awesome work, we are now changing some of our adr plans to follow yours.

:cloud9:

At the Tangerine Cafe, I ordered a side of Hummus (something I absolutley love) for $2.00. It came with some pita chips but not nearly enough to scoop up the hummus. I was able to buy a large warm round of pita bread for $1.00 to help scoop up the rest. The hummus portion was like two large ice cream scoops. Amazing.

Anyway (sorry I ended up rambling) but if you order the veggie plate, and you are hungry you can supplement it cheaply with some hummus and warm pita bread. (yum!)

Thanks, I will remember this. I love hummus!

THIS IS AMAZING!!!! I went in March as a vegetarian but I've been trying to slowly be vegan, and it is hard when I go out! Thanks so much - I can't wait to see what they can do for me next week! We should start a veggie review thread and it should be a sticky!

What exactly is in the stuffed pepper? It looks interesting but I am not sure if I will like it or not. Thanks. The pretzel looks amazing!

Wow, thank you for the review. We are a vegan family and it helps so much to have such thoughtful reviews. Thank you, thank you!

A vegan/veggie review thread is a GREAT idea in my humble opinion!
And thanks, OP, for the reviews. I'll be adding my own in a couple of weeks.

Thank you SO much for your post WITH photos!!! My aunt (vegan) and her husband and 2 kids (vegetarians) are visiting us in Orlando and we're going to WDW and this REALLY helps!!

One update, in case this hasn't been noted earlier, instead of the vegan Boca burgers, they're now serving vegan Gardenburgers in the parks.
