I know that the studios don't include VCRs or DVD players, but will they rent one to you if you want one? We'll be at BCV next week in a studio.

We asked during our last stay (studio) and the CM gave us a # for a local "VCR Rental" company. The resorts do not "stock" in house VCR/DVD rentals. We opted to not bother - Don't know how much they were either. But if you or your kids have a PS2, you'll have a DVD player (we bought the PS2 carry bag at Toys R Us); warning though, the studio TV we had a VWL did not have any RCA jacks, so we took a short trip to the Wall-Mart in Kissimmee and bought the coaxial adaptor. We did have to connect/disconnect the Disney Cable each time we used the PS2 for movies/games because of the over-amplification they use to boost signal strength to all the rooms. It made the early nights back in the room with the kids easier when rain took away the energy zapping pool remedy.

Just a thought from our studio solution, call the resort main phone and ask them about the rental company that we were told about if you still needed that route.

Gigashadow,

Thanks. I hadn't seen anything about this on the boards so I thought I'd ask in case the question came up. I'm one of those "dinosaurs" who believes that just being at WDW should be entertaining enough without movies and other distractions. That just means more time in the room. My daughter is still young enough (6) that she hasn't really gotten into video games aside from some simple educational stuff for the computer. But I knew that eventually the question would come up so I though I'd ask, especially since the non-studios have them.
