Yeti - The Ultimate Rollercoaster
This one-hour special follows Disney Imagineers as they embark on a journey to one of the most remote places in the world, The Himalayas.
They go to get inspiration for 'Expedition Everest' which will be the an ice-and-snow-capped rollercoaster that takes riders to the top of Mount Everest to face off against the Yeti. This amazing experience will be a new attraction at Animal Kingdom Park in Disney World, Orlando, Florida.
This special will follow Joe Rhode, Disney's lead Imagineer and his team as they undertake the arduous, difficult and yet amazing and rewarding journey to the foothills of the Himalaya - through Nepal, China and Tibet. We'll be there as they immerse themselves in the culture and societies that surround Everest, in order to create an immersive experience for visitors to Animal Kingdon Park.
Watch to see how Rhode and his team capture, duplicate and adapt the experience they have in order to make the riders of Expedition Everest feel like they themselves have made this incredible journey.
