VB trip report May 10th- 16th

Hey guys,

We recently stayed at VB for 6 days and it was nothing short of fantastic!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom on the third floor. Our room overlooked the fire pit area and the beach beyond. It was really a great location. We found the rooms to be on par with an OKW 2 bedroom. Very spacious unlike BCV,BWV or SSR. The CM's were great there. Poolside food was pretty good and the drinks were good. They make a mean margarita on the rocks. I just had to partake in a few of those. We ordered room service twice and it was prompt and the food was great. We went to a great place in downtown VB called The Tides. I highly recommend it for dinner. Top notch place.

Playground is brand new near the mini golf. Beach looks great and the water was about 80 degrees. We spent our days relaxing, biking, drinking and eating. I won the waterslide race and enjoyed quite a few trips down that baby. Really a refreshing 6 days.

VB is the best kept secret in the program. Give it a try, it is great!!!!!

We're looking forward to trying VB for the first time in July. I could only get three nights after our OKW stay but was wanting more. Thanks for sharing!

Dave.... This is great to hear.

We are taking our first trip to VB July 29th to Aug. 5th. We are going to also be staying in a 2-bedroom.

I will definately do an evening meal at The Tides. Thanks for the Margarita report, my wife loves them.

Shantay.... For my July trip I had to go on the wait list when I booked in February. It took a while to get my nights.

Summer of course is a busy time to go. I suspect VB is easier to book in the off season.

I booked this stay about 6 months in advance. Bookings are much tougher to get from Memorial day through Labor day as well as spring break. Other than that it has been pretty easy for me to book there.
