Well girls, I hate to burst everyone's bubble, but sometimes things happen no matter what we do to try to prevent them.
Let me explain.
After DD #1 we decided to "be careful", and if another one came along,

oh well, we would love it, and all would be fine.
After DD #2 we decided 2 was our limit, and that "being careful" wasn't enough. So DH went, and as he so pleasantly put it, "got snipped". He had a wonderful doctor who did all the routine stuff involved in this procedure. He had 2 (count them 2) tests, and all came back fine. We needed to "be careful" no more.
Fast forward 4 years, I have 2 lovely girls

, DH landed the job of his dreams

, I finally went back to college

, and we had started building our dream home

.
Then suddenly I started feeling sick, really sick

. I couldn't keep anything down, I was weak, passing out, and felt like I was dying.

Of course the worry wort I am, my first thoughts were "I have cancer, or some other disease.", "I'm going to die,

how's DH gonna raise 2 girls by himself."
I was a complete and utter mess, I was scared to death. DH kept trying to get me to go to the doctor, but I was too afraid of what they might find. This went on for a month, finally DH told me if I didn't go to the doctor, he was going to literally carry me to the truck and make me go. Then he looked at me and said, "Honey you don't have to be scared, I know what's wrong with you. You're pregnant!"
I just looked at him like he was crazy.

I said, "You know I can't be pregnant, YOU can't get me pregnant, I'm dying, besides I still had my period." He went to the store a few miles from here and came back with 3 pregnancy tests. I took the first one and that sucker lit up like a neon sign!!!!!

I took the other 2 just in case. Of course they were the same.
Luckily DH is not the type of guy to jump to conclusions, if you know what I mean. He was happy, I was more than a little frazzled

, but he was HAPPY!
DH went to the doctor, and 4 YEARS! after his operation, things had reattached and he was nearly as good as new, so to speak!

He had to get the procedure redone.
I finally went to the doctor, and 7 months later delivered DS. It's been a wild ride with 3 kids

(for those of you who have more, you are amazing!!!

), but I wouldn't take anything in the world for DS. The doctor told my husband that the odds were like 1 in a thousand, so we figure he's our miracle.

I had to have a C-section with him, so while my doctor was in there I had him to tie my tubes, just in case. (What's the odds of both me and DH reattaching?????

)
So you see, even if your given the all clear

, you may not ALWAYS be in the all clear!
