Vandals broke in to my car =Advice needed

Sorry this happened to you... I had the same thing happen to my car in April.... I am amazed you haven't gotten your window fixed yet... I called in the issue at 9:30 am and by 1 o'clock I had a new window, mind you I called the repair place myself... I can tell you from experience; it is NOT worth filing a claim for your gps or radio. It is going to cost you a lot more in the long run to do that than to just replace them out of pocket.

I've been there too and it really is awful, but pick up the phone and call the glass repair place near you and get it fixed. My local company sent a guy and he fixed it in my garage. He cleaned up most of the glass and I spent some time fine tuning the clean up with a shop vac. We did not file any insurance claim since it was below our deductible. My daughter's purse was stolen and we had to rekey the whole house...like FAST. The crook went on a shopping spree with her debit card...that was fun to deal with!

As for the car seat...My son's had glass all over it, but it's safety glass it breaks up into little chunks not tiny slivers. I vacuumed it out thoroughly and it has been just fine...no scratches or problems.
