OK, I saw the Southwest commercial for their "friend flies free" when you book a vacation package to WDW or DL.

I checked out their site and got the following prices.

5 nights (first week of aug) at CBR or CSR plus airfare for 2 =$777

5 nights (same dates) at ASMo plus airfare for 2= $667

These prices do not include theme park tickets, only airfare and accomodations.

Since right now airfare is right at $450 for two, this seems like a relatively good deal.

One of the problems is that the entire vacation package amount must be paid in full right now. However, they do have vacation insurance available for $50.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to which resort??

We had a great stay at CBR last summer (but got very lucky with our room being in Martinique--we never moved the car).

Also has anyone had any experience with Southwest Vacation Packages??

Need some advice from you experts!!

We can't fly SWA up here in the frozen northern territory owned by NWA, so I can't help with questions relating to the airline. But, if I recall the moderates were running $89/night, with a code, last August. Of course rates may vary come this August, but if anything they probably would be higher and not lower. Using that as a base for your rate quote, I would figure that the resort would run close to $500 with tax. That would leave an airfare cost of about $138 per person round trip. That seems like a great deal to me!

Of the resorts you listed, my choice would be CSR!
