Value Virgin... Am I going to Love Pop Century?

We have always enjoyed Pop. We have stayed at all levels of WDW resorts and never felt jipped or like we were slumming it when we stayed at Pop.

It has a great food court, its centrally located, the rooms are newly redone, the cm's are great, the theming is so much fun and I think you will have a great time.

Will you love it?? Hmmm - depends! At least it is only one night if you don't like it. I thought POP was very Disney, "motely" but with very good quality rooms, fun and enjoyable - and staying there didn't break the bank. It is not a deluxe resort - not a moderate - so go with an open mind and you may just love it!

You will like it if you know what to expect and think the little inconveniences that come with a small room and LOTS of people. I don't necessarily like either issue and I didn't mind it at all! We went at a low capacity time of year (January) but the overall "fun factor" of the resort way outweighed anything that would bug me. That being said, we weren't at the resort a ton...just breakfast and maybe a little swim time and touring of the other areas (we were in the 50's) 3 or 4 evenings out of the 7 we were there.

We really loved Pop Century! We've stayed there 3 times and each time had a room in the 50's section which ended up as a favorite! I like how its a little more spread out than the All Stars and runs on its own busses to the parks. The foodcourt is one of the best and its just a fun resort to stay at! The past few trips we've been staying at Port Orleans, had we not, we would be staying right back at Pop Century again!

Pop is a really fun resort!! I've stayed there 7 times. They got new mattresses last year and they are like sleeping on a board. I don't know if all
the rooms got them, but we were in the 70's section. We had to change resorts. If you like a very hard bed, then you'll be ok. My DD woke up with backaches. I'll miss staying at Pop. Have a great time!
