Too funny about only half of your cruise docs showing up; you'd think that is something that they'd mail out together! (I'm looking at it knowing what we pay for Fed-Ex at work, too. What a waste on their part!)

Day 21 sounds good, great restaurant choices too

I don't know why it is, but I heard that UK Disney doesn't send out as much documents anymore for your trip. You don't get ME Tags anymore, think you only get your vouchers and resort voucher and thats about it

We got 3 parts out of the four we need for our cruise!! Tom has got ALL his documents I have only got the documents for the first cruise! Nice try Disney!

Well, I had a crappy little donut for breakfast and was going to have a nice ceasars salad for lunch. That is UNTIL I CAME here to check up on how things were going. When will I ever learn?

Karin, we LOVE Yak & Yeti (I wish I could squeeze it in this trip). And the food on the liner? Oh my, all I can say is

We love Yak & Yeti too, we went there when it first opened and didn't accept ADRs and fell for it. We weren't able to squeeze it in last summer so we are REALLY looking forward to it!
Yes, the food on the Wonder is just SO good! And the thought that you can just go up and order or have room service whenever you want (it's all included in your cruise) is just amazing. We plan on trying a little more room service this time. Should be fun sitting out on the balcony munching away!

I don't have time right now to read through your whole pre-TR, but wanted to stop by and say hi before I head off to work. I'll make this my late night reading tonight!

Well, in the meantime three out of four parts have arrived - all mailed out seperatly! Disney DOES have too much money! If they can spend so much money on FedEx, they can roll out the HUGE discounts for us too!

Thanks - we put a lot of "hard work" into picking out our restaurant choices! Guess we will need to put a lot of "hard work" into eating it all in the end!

The vouchers are all I want from them. We don't need ME tags as we'll be renting a car anyway and I am not worried about the resort reservations - I have always printed out the online confirmation and have never even used it - they go by name and we never had a problem yet (touch wood! ). But I would love to go to the preferred fireworks viewings for Wishes and Illuminations and they won't let you in without the voucher in hand - I did get a confirmation number this year (not last year) so maybe that might help, but last summer we did NEED the vouchers. And I can't imagine they will give you the Planet Hollywood discount if you don't have the voucher for it. Not that we intend to use it!
The thing is that Disney UK told me for the last three years that they don't mail out any more documents to someone who books online - then when they discover we live on the continent they add that they only send out to British citizens! Every year they told me that my papers would be delivered to the Front Desk of the hotel, but when I asked about it at WDW - they had never heard of it!
Oh, and by the way - all three years I got my documents sent to my address!! And last year I reminded them twice that we left 2 weeks prior to our stay I got them delivered THREE times!

Day 22,
Saturday, September 4

Since we will be getting in late the day before we will sleep in a little, before we head over to the Magic Kingdom for a few rides

and lunch at the Kona Café.

In the afternoon we will head over to Beaches and Cream to meet our friends Mary Ellen and Joe

who arrive on that day and stay at the Wilderness Lodge. It is our tradition to start off our vacation together with a Kitchen Sink.

I guess we will hit Epcot for a while

until we go back to our villa to relax a little before our dinner at Jiko. (Sorry no photos YET, this will be our first time there!)

After dinner we will return to our villa and chill out on the balcony.

Yes, it is huge, but sooooooooooo yummy! Eight Scoops of Ice Cream served with all the Toppings in the house and a whole can of Whipped Cream!

You have never been to Beaches and Cream? Well, you missed out on a great ice-cream parlor!
The KS is worth it, just for the fun of it to see the lights flicker and the CM announce it being brought out! If you have four or more people in your party it is definitely worth it!

You have never been? Well, Kathy, you NEED to try B & C! Such a fun little ice-cream parlor! And if you don't want to order a KS for just Mark and yourself - they have a lot of other yummy treats!

We love DLRP. There are so many things that remind me of the MK in WDW and DL and yet the layout and the rides are all different!

Yes, we did receive 3 out of 4 parts of our cruise documents! Tom is set for both parts - I only have gotten one!

AND ............ yesterday I got one set of vouchers for the hotel! Funnily enough it is for the second part of our trip! So we have a "home" from Sept 2 - 11, now all I need are the vouchers for our stay from Aug 14 - Aug 26.

The thing is that the vouchers for the preferred fireworks are in there and you need those to get in, even though they give you a confirmation number when you book it!

But at the moment I am on with my paperwork and I am working on my "take along" itinerary folder with all the printouts I will need for hotels, ADRs aso.

I can't even imagine the packing and preparation you must have to do right now! I would like to imagine it...but I just can't! You're getting so super close! And thanks for all the ice cream shots...I may have to put B&C on the list!
