Value resort King vs 2 Queens question

I will be at AS Music for a lengthy stay (14 days) in a preferred room. I know the rooms are pretty small, so I'm looking to maximize the space and request a room that has the most free space to move around and feels the least cluttered. I was wondering which is more spacious, a room with 1 king bed, or a room with the 2 queens (with the 1 queen bed always folded up since there is only 2 of us).

I know king beds are few and far between and aren't always guaranteed, but it gives me the option to request a king for my preferred room so if it is more spacious than i figured id give it a shot.

Also, I know all the value resorts rooms are basically the same, so input from any value would be appreciated.

When I stay at Pop the room feels way bigger with the second bed lifted up. Also I prefer that hidden table and chair situation for using my laptop anyway, so it works out well. Now if you weren't planning to keep the bed lifted up all the time then I'd go with the king bed instead.

The room with the king bed typically has a separate table and chairs taking up floor space, plus the bed itself takes up more space as well. I feel the two queen, with the Murphy up all the time, is a better overall use of the space. However, it’s not a substantial difference, so if you would like the larger bed, go for it.

When I went with just my Husband before we had kids, I always got the King room. I like it way better than the 2 Queens.
