if you are going with a group - and want a group rate - then forget Pop.

It generally is not available for groups.

POP is closest. You can see the lighting at WWOS from the resort. They are on opposite corners of an intersection, but both sit back so it's not like you can walk safely from one to the other. You can drive it in a couple minutes.

Our sports group is staying at POP in March and there are cheerleaders staying there this month. They are paying rack rate, but the price at AllStars last year was a minimal discount . I think it will be well worth the extra to be at POP.

It really depends on the group..

I've seen Disney Sports Marketing offer certain groups stays at Pop Century.

I think TwirlMania is one such group that DOES get the offer to stay at Pop for the discounted rate.

And as noted.. some competitors choose to pay rack rate and stay where they please.

My DD is going with her Club Volleyball Team in June and she and all the other teams stay in houses. I am on my own and want a place near by and easy to get to and from when she is playing or not playing.
I am now in the what do I do by myself mode for 5 days at DW.
I think I can figure a few things out
