Value of open water swimmable lagoons as part of WDW DVC resort

And ya know the entire gator incident isn't exactly off everyone's minds. I know some people LOVE lakes, but I have a feeling a nice big clear pool would be more popular.
From what I can see it is essentially a clear water pool, it is just huge. While gators will not be particularly attracted to is because no natural food, but I think they will still need critter wranglers.. At lest you will be able to see them which is not the case in the natural lakes

Nope, I can find a huge gator free pool closer to home. Also, Disney wants us in the parks. They have to walk a line between making a resort special so we choose it over someplace offsite and making it so much fun we give up too many park days to enjoy it.

With the announcement of the Evermore resort in near WDW, we now know that swimmable open water lagoons are now possible in the WDW area, what value do DVC enthusiasts think it could being to a DVC resort?

Would it be a strong draw to a WDW DVC resort even if it was not adjacent to a park
Should Reflections be redesigned to incorporate this technology?
How about existing resorts? Now or at the 2042 turnover?
Sorry, but no way would I swim in that lagoon in Florida. There is no way they can guarantee a gator can’t get in there.

Gators can and do get in pools/waterparks also, you just have to wait for someone to wrangle them out

It’s a pool, not fresh water. They’re becoming very popular here in the Tampa area. We have at least 2 HOA communities with lagoons and more being built. The first one that opened, pre COVID, had a long waiting list for guest passes to the lagoon.

I don't even want to imagine the dues $$$$ to maintain that size of pool. Of course if Disney ever built one it would definitely be DVC bc they don't want to pay for it either lol.

at least by the company is putting out it is similar to what a municipal park of the same size. That much lower cost is what they tout as the breakthrough of the technology. Install is also supported to be a similar cost to a public park
