I was wondering...

How many of each type of room are available at WDW? There are more deluxe resorts than any other type, but I would assume there are fewer deluxe rooms overall. Conversely, there are only 4 value resorts, but do they have the most rooms?

I'd be interested in finding out if anyone knows. Thanks.

oh I'll give it a shot:

Coronado Springs 1967
Dolphin 1509
Fort Wilderness 1195 407 cabins & 788 campsites
Grand Floridian 900
Old Key West 761
Polynesian 853
Pop Century 5760 2880 in Classic and 2880 in Legendary
Port Orleans 3056 1008 in FQ,1024 Mans., 1024 bayou
Saratoga Springs 696
Shades of Green 586
Swan 758
Wilderness Lodge 864
Yacht Club 634

Hope this answers your question.

So, if my math is correct (and I doubt it is), the breakdown would be as follows:

10,894 Deluxe (36%)
7,135 Moderate (24%)
11,520 Value (39%)

29,549 Total Rooms (percents rounded, so they don't = 100)

Interesting. I would have thought the Values had a higher share.
