Value accommodation vs standard view

At Animal kingdow villa, what is the difference with a value accommodation studio and a standard view studio?

The value units, only available at Jambo House, are smaller (about 3 feet shorter front to back) than the standard units. This is because the Jambo house units were retrofitted from existing standard hotel rooms.

The value accommodations are smaller, don't have the sleeper chair and no shower separate from the tub for 1-2 brd but studio maybe just the size?

Standard views at Jambo are almost always pool view. A value can be parking lot, pool or savanah view no request taken.

Points and size. It has already been stated that the value is in Jamba house and was a hotel room so it is 3 ft smaller. I didn't know about the tub/shower but now it makes sense. I would gladly stay in Jamba or Kindani any day.

A standard view at Jambo is either pool view or savanna view, a standard at Kidani is either pool view or parking lot view. My standard view 1 BR at Jambo did not have a seperate tub and shower.

Only Jambo House has Value rooms. As mentioned, they are smaller than the Standard View rooms and have a slightly narrower balcony. The Value 1BR and 2BR villas do not have a sleeper chair so those rooms have a lower occupancy, 4 guests in a 1BR, 8 guests in a 2BR. They are located on either side of the main entrance, along the Giraffe and Ostrich trails, so the rooms face the pool area, the Sunset Savanna and the parking lot, as shown on this map.

Standard View rooms in Jambo House face the pool area or have a limited savanna view. Standard View rooms in Kidani face the pool area or the front drive and parking areas.

All of the 1BRs and 2BRs in Jambo House (Value, Standard View, Savanna View and Concierge) have a combined whirlpool tub and shower in the master bathroom and do not have the extra bathroom near the entryway.

All of the 1BRs and 2BRs in Kidani Village (Standard View, Savanna View) have a whirlpool tub and a separate shower stall in the master bathroom. They also have an additional full bathroom near the entryway.

All Standard View, Savanna View and Concierge 1BRs and 2BRs have a sleeper chair so they accommodate 5 guests in a 1BR or 9 guests in a 2BR.

My recent experience says that no VIEW request will be taken. However, I requested a specific villa, and she said that that request was acceptable. This was just a few weeks ago, I haven't beent there yet, so it remains to be seen if I get either that studio or a studio near it. No big deal if I don't get anything near my request-it's just a request!

This makes me want to see a map with room numbers. I have a value studio booked this December, and I never thought about requesting a certain room number. How did you know what room number to request?

Even 51xx number. So 5110-5136 are all Savannah View Value's.

Choosing between the 2. If you have kids, I would choose standard view at the Kidani Village. Most kids love spending time in the pool and the Kidani Village pool area is, in my opinion, 10 times better than the pool at the Jambo house.
My family loves staying at Kidani Village everytime we go. It is our favorite DVC resort.
Also, Jambo house is close enough to walk to (10 minutes) and the buses have a system for direct transport to each of the Animal Kingdom resorts without stopping at other properties. We sometimes walk over to the Jambo house for the evening activities and counter service resturant.
