Valleyfair in Shakopee, MN

Hey guys, I know this is last minute, but I'm headed to Valleyfair this weekend and I haven't been there in over 10 years. I realize the planning involved is nowhere near a Disney vacation () but does anyone who's familiar with it have any tips they'd be willing to share?

Go on the big rides early. It is supposed to be somewhat cool this weekend so don't plan on doing the waterpark.

Don;t stay past sundown...It can get somewhat rough after dark. Last time we were there we had to get a security person to walk us to our car as there was somekind of running gang battle going on in the park and in the parking lot. It was rather frightening TBPH.
