validated annual pass??

Does the annual pass have to be validated prior to getting our discount at resorts? Can I just buy one for one of my children to get the discounted ap rates?

You just have cal & ask for the AP rate. You will need it at check in. I was told I could use a childs pass to book my room...others have been told differnt.
