Valet parking - free for DVC members at which resorts?

We're doing our first stay on points next month.

As DVC members, is valet parking free just at the resort you're staying at? Is it free if going to other DVC resorts, and non-DVC resorts?

It is not free at non-DVC resorts.

The following DVCs offer free valet: BCV, VWL, BWV, and maybe AKV has started offering free valet as well. OKW and SSR are condo style resorts and do have any valet parking. Show your DVC Membership card, whether or not you are staying at the participating resorts for free valet. Since all the DVC Rooms at the contempoary are in a separate tower building, it is not known if the Contempopary will offer free valet to DVCers after the villas open. I would assume so, but you never know.

If you have a DDE/Tables in Wonderland card you can valet park for free at any WDW resort that has valet service, provided you are dining there. You will need to show the dining receipt.

What about at the Grand Californian or Disneyland? I think I heard it was free for DVC members.

Just a reminder. Check your room charges if you use the "free" valet service, either with your DVC membership or your DDE card. We used it at the GF last month and was charged, even though we showed our card. Your parking pass has a barcode on it and the CMs now scan the barcode and the charge is put on your room bill. From now on we plan to just take the parking pass out of the car after we go through the guard. It was a pain getting it refunded last month and took a manager to get it off the bill. I had my dining receipt and DDE card as proof. Someone on the boards here mentioned it happened to them, so I decided to check before checking out of the resort and it was there.
