Valet Parking, free at resorts?

I seem to remember someone on the boards telling me that valet parking at the resorts is free for DVC members. Is that correct? Is is just the DVC resorts or all resorts?

I believe valet is free to DVC members at BCV, BWV and WVL only, except for the tip of course. The other DVC resorts do not offer valet service. You do not get free valet at any of the non-DVC resorts only the DVC resorts that offer valet.

Valet parking is free at ALL resorts if you have the DDE card, I believe...but only at the DVC resorts for DVC members.

Jim, I believe it's free with the DDE card only if you are having dinner there. I remember seeing something about showing your restaurant receipt.

Valet parking is also free if you have a handicapped person in your vehicle with a handicapped sticker.

Basically correct, but it not just dinner...you can have breakfast or lunch as well and get free valet with the DDE Card. Just be sure you show your receipt and DDE.

I have no doubt this is correct. However when we went to GF for 1900 Park Fare in November, we were never asked for the receipt. They only asked us to show the DDE card when we dropped the car off.

Actually, I didn't know we got free valet with the DDE -- I was going to pay for it -- but the valet dude ran through a list of things that get you free valet, and DDE was one of them. I'm sure this is one of those "it depends on which CM you talk to" things.

Thanks everyone! Well, I'll just have to remember to pull out every card!!!!
The DVC, DDE & my DH is handicapped so we have the HA parking tag also. We should be able to get some "free" parking with all of that!!
