I have been putting off starting the TR because I have lost my memory card with all of the pictures that I took in Disney. I realized when I was in Rome that it was missing and cried for about 2 hours straight, I convinced myself that it must be in all of the wedding boxes that I have back home and that it would eventually show up.

Over the weekend I dug through all of the boxes and searched everywhere I could think of for my memory card...nothing. I had some really great pictures that I can't share with you and ones that I hope will never escape my memory. I have been trying to contact all of the relatives for their pictures so that I can try and fill in the gaps. Thankfully my mom was with us for most of the trip and has a lot of photos to capture the week, so I will be starting the TR soon.

Well the week before we left for the wedding was extremely busy!! With getting all of the DIY projects finished and packed and a bachelorette party, I had no time to do a final post before we left for Disney. So before I get the TR started I wanted to share with you my finished projects and some fun bachelorette pics!

Wow, all your projects are amazing! I love the ring bearer shirts! :rotfl2:

omigosh, I'm sooooooo sorry about your memory card!!!! I would react the same way although I would cry for a month. So glad your family too plenty of pictures but I know it's not the same.

I love all your DIY projects!! I love your idea of the seating chart and might just have to use that idea for mine, as I planned on making one but I love the idea of designing it and printing them at costco!!! They looked so nice and professional.

Where did you get those wonderful golf balls? The boys are going golfing a few days before the wedding and I think this would be a great gift for them all.:goodvibes

Everything looks great Valerie!! I am so excited to read, see, and hear about it all!

If you dont mind me asking, could you email me your program? I'd love to see what it looked like and how you did it. And did you make them? What did you use, etc? I need to get started on mine if I ever want to get them done in time! Yours look great through the ziploc!

Hope your enjoying married life as a newlywed! :cutie:

Thanks! I am still trying to get over the memory card situation...but I am not sure I will ever forgive myself!

The seating charts were great and they were ready at costco in less than 24 hours. The only thing I will say is that they were a little more fragile than I expected but they were fine when they were sitting in the easle.

I got the golf balls from www.theweddingoutlet.com. I found the bestman and father of the groom ones in a store near where I live and I had to do some searching to find the others. I actually forgot to give it to them before their golf game, I was sooo mad!!

love all of your stuff! everything looks so pretty!

Thank You!

Thanks! I will email you the program, but I won't take credit for the design. I saw another disbride do it and I loved it so I completely ripped it off, I think it was Nicole (thanks Nicole!!).

I made it in photoshop so I can either send it to you as a photoshop file or a jpeg, but you won't be able to edit the jpeg. Or if you give me what you want it to say I can do it for you. It was actually pretty easy to make. I bought the already folded cards and logo design from cardsandpockets.com and then glued the ribbon around them and just printed the inside out and pasted it in.

Loving all your little details. What a beautiful wedding you had. Since I was in WDW at the time, I wish I had come down to the WP and had a little look!!!

Oh that would be great! Would you mind sending me yours to see how and what you put on it before I send you something thats stupid and dumb looking/sounding? I really liked yours, I'll have to go check out cardsandpockets this weekend. I was going to use them for invites but found the kit at Michaels and it was already done for me...so cards/pockets got nixed...lol. Anyways, thanks!

AND im anxiously awaiting a TR!! :rolleyes1

I just sent you an email with the program. Just let me know what you want yours to say and I can make it for you. They turned out to be really inexpensive to make so I am glad I added this project at the last minute!

I know, I know...I will get to the TR eventually!!

The bachelorette party was scheduled for 2 days before we left for Disney and I was so stressed with trying to get everything packed and make sure that I was prepared for the big trip. But I think it was just what I needed to relax a little bit.

Where I live in Virginia there are a TON of vineyards. Since I had never been wine tasting before and I am not the crazy stripper bachelorette party type this is what we decided to do for my bachelorette and I LOVED it! Since then, weekend wine tasting trips have been a favorite pastime of mine.

Ready to go with my “Something Blue” tasting cup, fully equipped with a garter!

After the tasting, we were in the car on our way to dinner and I thought it was a good idea to roll down the window and pour out the rest of the wine that was in my cup…and the garter slipped off my cup and was lost forever.

I woke up bright and early to finish the last minute packing. We ended up packing and repacking the car three times to make everything fit!

This pushed back out start time from 7 am to 8:30!!! It was hard to say goodbye to Tinkerbell knowing that it would be three weeks before I saw her again...after many hugs and kisses we were on our way.

Tink!! :dog2:

DF (now DH) started off the driving but before we could get on the highway we needed to stop and put air in our brand new tires that were purchased the day before, that were ALL flat?!?!?! And of course to get breakfast at McDonalds. DF got 4 egg McMuffins. I am not sure how he does it.

Before we knew it we passed South of the Border and it was time for boiled peanuts...yum my favorite road trip snack!

236.jpg

We arrived at the Caribbean Beach Resort at around 11:30 pm and we checked into my moms hotel room for the night...just one problem. There was only one bed. DF ended up sleeping on the floor and getting rug burn on his cheek.

We had a heck of a time finding the room in Jamaica, building number 42 and had to call someone to come help us with our bags. Then we discovered the toilet was not working and had to call someone to come fix that. The room was ok, but a bit smelly, which seemed to be a common complaint among our guests.

Up Next: Day 2 - Epcot

Tuesday, May 3, 2011

We woke up and explored the resort a little bit and then walked over to the food court to eat breakfast. We had OK omlets and bacon that had no taste whatsoever. After breakfast we went back to my moms room to finish getting ready and then DF and I went to the lobby to check into our room.

We were meeting with the photographer at 12 at the Boardwalk hotel (on our way into Epcot) but when we got to the car we discovered that the tires were flat again!! So we had to make a pit stop at the gas station to fill up the tires on our way (this is a reoccuring theme throughout the entire trip).

The meeting with the photographer went well, I was reasurred of all the concerns I had previously and was getting excited for the big day! After meeting with the photographer we walked down the boardwalk, taking pictures at Sea Breeze Point along the way (I would have pictures of this, if i didnt loose my memory card ).

We had lunch reservations at Teppan Edo in Japan which was amazing! The food was really good and we just happen to be sitting next to people that lived only 20 minutes away from us in VA.

After lunch we took a lot of pictures of the flower and garden festival and were walking around the world when DF smelled funnel cake...and then the sugar cookie. DF said, "You have to get a sugar cookie when it is that big!" We just ate lunch and I was STUFFED, I really don't know how he does it. We rode Maelstrom in Norway and then stopped for some potent margaritas at the bar in Mexico.

We then went to go see how the line for Test Track was and it said 60 mins but it only ended up being a 15 min wait! After that DF saw a pretzel stand and had to have one of those too. Next up was Nemo and then Soarin', which was our longest wait time of the entire trip...45 mins (not too bad). When we were waiting in line for Soarin', DF informed me that he didn't get the groomsman gifts 2 months ago like I asked and he needed to pick something up. AHHHHHHHHH, why can't he just do things when I ask him to?? So we left Epcot in search of groomsman gifts.

We stopped at a few of the golf outlet shops to see if there was anything cute for their golf game on Thursday. After no luck, we looked up where the nearest Things Remembered was to go with the standard flask gift..which took us to the most AMAZING mall...The Mall at Milenia. LOVE IT. Too bad I didnt have time to do any shopping.

After ordering the gifts, it was time to pick up my dad from the airport but we stopped in some sketchy town to eat dinner first. We plugged the airport into the GPS and it took us some random back way through a neighborhood to get there but at least we made it.
We arrived back to the CBR and by that time it was pretty late and I was getting grumpy but we still needed to assemble all of the gift bags and get them ready to be delivered to the hotels the next morning.

Next up: Day 3 – Hair Trial, Animal Kingdom, Dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table
