Does anyone have any suggestions for valentine games for 2nd graders?

Put a heart with an animal name (guess you could use states or anything the class is studying) on a heart taped to the children's back. They then have to ask classmates questions and decide what they are. They could then go to the corner of the room with the right classification...mamals, reptiles, etc. Don't know how "Valentines" it is, but it reinforces what they are learning and promotes working together.

What about charades (is that spelled correctly? anyway) or pictionary. Guessing Valentines Day typical fare (candy hearts, val cards) or couples "in love"...Mickey/Minnie, Daisy/Donald, Simba/Nala, Fred/Wilma, Princesses/Princes.

This may cost a little $$. Have cookies or cupcakes and pens that write on frosting to let them make their own sweets with funny sayings. OR even 2...one to keep and one to share

Thanks for the idea. I am trying to think of a way to make it "Valentiney". You know the things on their backs being a certain character or person?

Use cupids, candy hearts, cards, teddy bears, roses, perfume...the usual. There can be repeats.
Think about "loving characters" that 2nd graders would know too.
OR if you can think of loving/lovable characters give the kids x amount of time to write as many things that are lovable about them.
The other idea of with the characters in love...you could have the children match up (using clues from on their backs).
There is the old stand by...how many words can you make out of Valentine's Day?
Heads up, 7-up...the game where kids put their heads down and picked kids go around the room and push down their thumb, then they have to guess who push thier thumb...put a candy heart/sticker in their hand instead. Do they still do that anymore???
