anyone traveling with their vaccine cards and for what purpose?

In Israel you need a vaccine card (or negative pcr test) to enter shows / hotels / eat indoors at restaurants etc. Also for international travel.
So we just downloaded ours into our cellphones and can present them if necessary. We also downloaded screenshots of the kids negative tests.
Takes 5 mins and saves a lot of trouble.

Not domestically within the US, however when we leave the US we will have them with us in case they are needed when & if the situation arises.

I snapped a photo of mine with my phone just so I have it for the record. I haven't heard of anyone or anywhere requiring to see them in the US.

My library card is about the size of a driver's license but my Covid vax card is 3x5 ish. is your vax card smaller?

A warning. Some people are getting their cards laminated. The heat is fading the ink on some cards.

Take a photo on your phone. You don't need it but it can't hurt to have it. I'm thinking if you need medical treatment, ER, knowing which vaccine you got and when might be good to know.

The card is too easy to fake. It probably isn't sufficient for most uses.

It's 3x4. I have one of the old "credit card attaché" wallets with offset stacked windows. The card fits perfectly in the pocket behind the windows.

I folded mine in half to fit in my wallet. When I went for the 2nd injection yesterday receiving told me NOT to laminate it but run some reinforcement tape along the back.

She said it is important to keep as a valid document and likely will need the ability to mark with booster #3 next winter.

DH was lucky, his center gave out a plastic sleeve to protect it.

This thread is talking about the card we're given when we get vaccinated. We bring the card back and get a sticker added when we get the 2nd shot.

You're taking about the NY Vaccine passport. It has a QR code. You can show it from the app, save a screenshot, print it...

Understood - I have both - should have specified that I just carry the excelsior card with me

Pretty sure people can’t choose their race. They can choose to be vaccinated. Illogical argument.

Not really, people were also discriminated against because of religion, which you can indeed choose. Additionally, not everyone can be vaccinated for various reasons, which leaves them with no choice either. Sorry, not illogical at all.

I just keep a pic of mine on my phone, I made an album for it so I can access it to get my free donuts at Krispy Kreme in case it is needed

The vaccine card fits perfectly with one of those lanyard vinyl name tag holders. I put all my families cards to it and we could take it out in case of booster shots and it is perfectly sealed.
