Vacationears - anyone stayed there?

I think we are probably going to stay at one of the Vacationears.com properties. It seems very legit and the people seem really nice. Since they are on the BBB I assume it's ok.

Has anyone stayed at their properties who can tell me about the privacy of the pool areas of the homes? Most of their homes are available the weeks we want to go so I can choose and since we live most of our life in a subdivision with neighbors close by where we can see right from our deck to theirs, we'd really enjoy having some privacy in the pool area when on vacation and not feel like the neighbors are staring at us, you know. It's so hard to tell from the pictures.

Also, they call the kids' areas of the home apartments. What does that mean?

I think it just means the kids have their own space with bedrooms and games/toy rooms.

Their houses look nice but decorations look like they are from 1985! The price looks right though... a place to consider for sure.
