Hi,

First of all thank you all for your feedback in regards to my vacation delema. After taking with my TA, I have decided not to do the Oahu trip and instead take a few smaller 3-4 night trips instead. Other than the insurance deposit, I will be getting everything refunded in about 4 weeks.

So I will be going to Las Vegas Jan 1-4, for some fun in sin city. I couldn't pass up 4 nights at the MGM Grand and nonstop air on American from Chicago to Las Vegas including transfers for $700. While it's not a long vacation, 4 days/3 nights in Las Vegas is long enough for me to lose enough money.

The really cool thing is that the first night there, I'm going to see Mamma Mia at the Mandalay Bay theater so I'm excited about that.

Hi Jason!

So glad you got everything worked out! Hope you have a good time in Las Vegas and try not to lose too much money! :earboy2:

I'm probably going to book our hotel room for Stone Mountain after the holidays. I haven't really started saving, but the income tax refund no matter how small it is will cover a lot it. :goodvibes I'm VERY excited about this trip. I've discovered two new places to visit in Atlanta, the aquarium which just opened November of this year and the Fernbank Museum which has an AWESOME dinosaur exhibit! :cool1:

Blessings Jason,

Denise :p
