what time is check in ?
where u stayin?

water park on weekend u might want to avoid unless u get there at opening
try to work in midday breaks either poolside or lunch in ac

I think it's good, but I agree about the water park. To me that could be used for a little more relaxation, so I like to save it for after a few busy park days. That way it breaks up the routine a little.

We always go in the June-July time frame, so here goes:

1. Make a PS for each meal you want at a sit-down in each park. You will not want to be fighting crowds, heat, hunger, and "luck" to get in. Remember that most kids meals are the same cost whether it's served on white linen or eaten in the sun. (you can tell what we opt for). Time your PS for early afternoon to get out of the heat of the day. It will be a welcome break. Suggestions are MGM: Sci Fi or Prime Time. MK: Crystal Palace or Tony's Town Square or LIberty Tavern
EPCOT: Germany Biergarten for lunch. LeCellier for dinner (they have a kids meal with steak!)

2. I'd cancel the WP and use the resort pool facilities. At that time of year brief intense thunder storms are the rule and we've been kicked out of WPs after only a few hours, which throws off your entire day. Same with the PHP tix. We did them a couple times until we learned that the WPs are not worth them when the Parks offer so much.

3. With PHPs you need to schedule something for your open days or you're not getting the money's worth. Plus you may have 3 people wanting to go 3 different places and no one will be satisfied. We learned long ago to set an itinerary for each day with a selected Park, PSs at that Park, and then as the kids got older, we became much more flexible because we could move around so much faster--we've been known to be in 3 Parks the last day!

4. With your kids ages, I'd do at least one character meal. If you're slow morning movers, make it a lunch PS at the Crystal Palace. It may be too late to get into the Castle already. Norway has a wonderful Princess Breakfast if you are early risers.

5. Most of all RELAX, ENJOY, and know going in that you won't see everything and do everything on the first trip. That's what makes returns SO important.

WDW ON JUNE 24::yes:: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

We will check-in as soon as we can on sunday morning. At first we were going to try to take advantage of the early entry at MK,
But Don't think we can because of check-in at FT Wild. Are they open that early?

5/20-5/24- We are staying at the FT Wilderness cabins,
5/24-527 -We'll be at Port Orleans Riverside.:jumping1:

I think you have some very long days planned. With a 2yo, you may be courting disaster. Try to break them up, add some afternoon breaks back at the room and shorten a few of them.

I agree that the WPs may not be a good idea on a weekend. A lot of locals will be there in addition to the tourists. A relaxing day by the resort pool, with dinner at one of the monorail restaurants might be a better start, especially if you spent the morning traveling from a distance to Orlando.

I would not plan to do EMH after an E-ride night. E-ride nights can be as late as 1 am and EMH can be as early as 8 am. And that doesn't include the amount of time it takes to commute. If you're not doing EMH, avoid going to the EMH park of the day. It will be more crowded than the other 3.

Unless you have UPHs, schedule a non-park day in the middle of the vacation. You can shop in DTD or just take it easy by the pool. Doing this can recharge everyone's batteries. If you have UPHs, plan the WP for that day.

I would probably do something closer to this:
  • Sun. 6/20
    Check in.
    Head over to the MK
......NOTE!!! It will be crowded. Sunday is an EMH day for the MK and you will also have the weekenders and people ending their vacations in the "original" Disney World. Don't try to do it all on this day, just try to take in the ambiance and atmosphere.
Lunch at Pecos Bill's or Cosmic Ray's
    Watch the parade from Frontierland
Dinner at Crystal Palace or Chef Mickey's at the CR
  • Mon. 6/21
    EMH at AK
    Breakfast at Donald's Breakfastasaurus
    Lunch at Flame Tree BBQ
Return to cabin around 3pm for a break
Evening in MK with MIL taking kids back to room when they tire out; parents stay for E-ride night
  • Tues. 6/22
    Sleep in. Breakfast in cabin.
EPCOT until 2pm with lunch at Sunshine Seasons Food Fair
    Break in cabin.
Return to EPCOT in evening for dinner. Catch Illuminations if you're not tired.
  • Wed. 6/23
    Breakfast at resort.
    MGM in morning.
Lunch at Toy Story's Pizza Planet or Hollywood & Vine
Back to room around 2 pm.
MK in evening with E-ride Night again
  • Thurs. 6/24
    Moving Day! Sleep in.
    Breakfast in cabin.
Check out of FW and into POR.
Relax poolside, get lunch at food court.
Head to DTD via the riverboat.
    Evening in DTD
  • Fri. 6/25
    Breakfast at resort.
    EMH at MK
    Lunch at Columbia Harbor House
Break back at room around 2pm
    MGM in evening.
    Dinner at Sci-Fi
Catch first showing of Fantasmic! if you're not too tired.
  • Sat. 6/26
Park(s) of choice, to do any attractions that you missed the first time and repeat any that you want to do again.
  • Sun. 6/27
    Checkout.
Depending on your admission media (UPH?, PHP?) you can visit another favorite park or go shopping in DTD.
It also depends on the amount of time you have before you need to hit the road.

YOU MUST MUST MUST GO TO UNIVERSAL STUDIOS !!!!

I MEAN, YOU HAVE TO! IT IS THE BEST PARK EVER!! , NEXT TO MAGIC KINGDOM!

In June, EMH is in the morning only (at least that's as it stands right now). So the only way you can participate in EMH on your check-in day is if you're able to be at your hotel, checked in (so that you can get your resort ID cards) and to the MK by 8 am. If you can't do that, then you won't be able to take advantage of EMH at MK.

E-ride nights are different than EMH and are every M,W, F. They are only at MK and have a cost (but crowds are limited to 5000 tickets). I have children practically the same ages as yours and we are choosing not to do e-ride nights. With MK open until 10 pm, e-ride will run from 10 pm - 1 am. I just don't think that we would get the full benefit of those hours with our kids. We're choosing instead to focus on making it to early mornings and will use mornings as our main touring time.

Just a note that with a 2YO you'll gonna want to take breaks every day in the afternoon.

Also, I assume you've made PS for Breakfastasaurus - otherwise it may be too late.

Also, suggest making lunah and dinner PS at a sit down restaurant for every day. You may not sue them, but I'm sure at least once during your stay you're going to want to sit down and get out of the heat and relax for a while.
